Manufacturers typically include all necessary hardware. However, special mounting surfaces (like metal or concrete) may require customer-provided fasteners.
Cellular shades, specifically double cell blackout options, offer maximum energy efficiency. We also offer insulating blinds that combine slat functionality with cellular efficiency.
Thin options look most attractive on doors: 3/8" cellular shades, 1/2" aluminum blinds, or 1" wood blinds are all excellent choices.
Vertical blinds work well for large openings. Vertical cellular options provide both functionality and energy efficiency.
Solar shades are specialized roller shades with tight weaving that blocks out some sunlight while still allowing you to see through. They typically range from 0-25% openness.
Composite blinds contain wood pulp and synthetics (PVC or other plastic resins), while non-composite faux wood is PVC only. Composites weigh less than pure PVC alternatives.
Faux wood blinds weigh significantly more and may face mechanical failures over time. Real wood offers high-end visual appeal and durability in stable humidity/temperature conditions.

Custom-built products typically cannot be resold. Returns are only allowed for warranty issues—manufacturing defects, damage in shipment, or incorrect specifications result in replacement or repair. See our return policy for details.

Your card is charged the day you place your order since all products are custom-made to your specifications.
Orders process immediately and ship upon completion. Manufacturing times vary by product; different items may arrive separately.
Shipping
Standard shipping to the contiguous U.S. is free. Items larger than 94" incur a flat $70 fee per order. Shutters ship for $70 per order. Commercial orders are quoted individually. See our shipping policy for details.
Yes, we ship to Alaska and Hawaii. However, we cannot offer free shipping to these locations due to higher shipping costs.
Manufacturers use UPS or FedEx for ground shipping. Items wider than 90" ship via freight carrier.
Notify us immediately at 1-888-305-8020. Damage claims must be reported within 7 days of receipt. Please keep proof of damage for replacement processing.
